Hey

As many of you have probably noticed...I kill my blog alot. That is because now and then it freaks me out that anyone can read it.

Well I have found a solution! Though I should have found it about a year ago when msn came up with the damn thing. I'm using my msn spaces thing now. If you on my msn...you can get to it. If you not on my msn and want to get to it...add me. Chances are if you know me well enough to find my blog interesting...you really should be on my msn anyways!

Howdy!

Well it seems my cowgirl adventure is comming to an end. We are coming home to pei on Wed, and Justin leaves for Korea as soon as 10 days. Gross. We got word that they couldn't get my visa without my degree, so I'm stuck on PEI bumming around till graduation, when I can mail this shit off and get over there. This whole delay thing is making me fairly sour at UPEI. The idea of being on PEI not working/winter time/in family home is a bit of a scary one. I'm going to have to take up a hobbie, or volunteer or something. Maybe I'll get back into the horses. Its an idea anyways.

Its 10 am here right now, we rented a car to go to the rockies today, Justin and Chris left about an hour ago to get it. I'm starting to worry a little bit. Driving in Calgary for the first time in a rental car, with two very ADD PEI boys could lead to some bad results. crossing the fingers.

I'm pretty giddy for the mountains. Hot springs, and mountain hikes. Big horned sheep and elk!! I just need new batteries for my camera so I can play tourist and document the whole trip by the minute. I have batteries now, but there non-rechargable....and I've been recharging them (and its been working!!!!). But I'm told that, that is probably not the best practice to continue long term.

Anyways I'm pretty giddy to get home and see everyone. I'm starting to see random things that make me think of everyone. I was in a MEC superstore the other day and I almost felt guilty that Tash wasn't there to experience it. There is also a resturant called the CHICK PEA, miss Ashley. I pass by it all the time...I'll have to take a picture of it. And Robyn...if I see a moose today...I'll take a picture of it for you. :)

Blogger causes writers block. I had no idea how else to start this entry.

Life is good out here in Calgary. I'm working at U of C in the Med School. I book classroom and look pretty for more money then I'd make at home using my degree. Its kinda fun, but I'm glad I'm not a receptionist by trade. And I work with dead people. The classroom center in in the med-student study area....in this area is the Atonomy lab....my first day I saw 20 preserved dead human bodies and a brain in a bucket. Kinda creepy...but also very cool. Dr's also all seem to have names that I will never be able to spell.

So far we have been out to the moutain foothills, went to see the Olympic Park, and currently we are devising a plan to crash Chinese new years....we just need to find China Town first.

We going to baniff next weekend to ski. I'm pretty giddy. :)

Less crack-addicts and more cowboys please?!?

Hello everyone back on pei! I've made it to Calgary safe and sound. We were travelling for about 12 hours with all our stop overs, so it was pretty nice to have a place with a futon wating for us. The job seach starting yesterday with Justin calling ONE person WITHOUT a resume and getting hired for a construction job. He was like a kid in a candy store at home depot buying hes newly need tools. Hes at work now. I on the other hand have been sending out proper emails with resumes attached with specfic skills outlined that pertain to that job. And I'm still unemployed.

Yesterday afternoon we spent wandering around downtown, and ofcourse managed to find ourselves in the worst areas possible, a man that smelled like urine tried to pry a hug out of Justin, found a indoor garden with turtles at the top of the eatons centre, and got lost in the bay. After which lindsey called and saved us. After that the night was great. We went to a spont called Moxies that was pretty swanky and then came back here and hung out with the new roomies.

Now its 11am of day two. Hopefully I'll have a job by the end of it! :)

Plan?!? Who needs a plan? Nobody follows them anyways....

Alright, so for those I haven't had a chance to bounce up and down and tell - I've bought a one-way ticket to Calgary. Me and the man-friend are moving there without much of a plan. We have been hearing stories of numerous people moving out and finding their dream job and an apt in the same day they get off the plane. Err hopefully something like that happens to us.

It kinda makes me feel like an immigrant, we are leaving the place of little work and low wages to go to the land of opportunity where the minium wage is more then I could ever make here flashing my degree. Whatever works I guess.

On top of this we are still talking with Korea. Man-Friend has been offered something starting in February, and I will come over in May after I receive my degree. So well see what happens with that, if he goes in May I’m not sure if I’ll come home for a while or stay out there my myself till convocation.

And just to make things more interesting, there are four federal recruitments that I am applying for. Which means for recruitment exams, and enough paperwork to smother a small child. Well, I’ll keep you all updated where my life takes me.

Usually I start up a brand new blog for trips, but I think I’ll just stick with this one .... make a cowboy theme or something.

Anyways. I leave Tuesday, my Birthday is Monday. Email me for location and directions to the Going away/ Birthday party :) (The homeowner probably wouldn’t appreciate me posting his full address on the Internet).

Toodles!

Hiya! Miss me?

Luke Calgary is the current plan, I'll know next week if I'm coming. Visitations will happen :) :)

Sorry for the long non-post. These things tend to freak me out periodically. Like when I google myself and my blog comes up.

You do it too....just to see what dirt there is out there on you.

Currently I'm killing time. I'm in front of my computer and I have my new laptop (hehe Santa spoiled me for graduation/xmas) to the side. I'm using msn to move files over to it. There is probably an easier way...but this is the least complicated.

Anyways, update. Umm well I Graduated, I'm done working, moved back home with my family, and I started to work out. Yes I go to the gym. And I know how to do things. Like with yoga balls and free weights. I'm starting to get into it too. Though I'm fighting to desire to calculate how much of my meal I have worked off at the end of my workout. And I eat Jr. Bacon's immediately before the gym....

Files are moved! Until next time!

I'm going to have to start setting dealines in my life and meeting them. Its time to get this ass in gear and go somewhere and do something.

Plan Ideas so far:

1. Teach english in Korea. Free trip over, 3% income tax rate, free rent, cheap living, traveling :). But cant do it till I have my degree in May... even though I just graduated. grr

2. Go to Calgary and find a job. why not? I'm hearing good things

3. Move back in with my parents and go on E.I. Every graduates dream

4. Go to grad - school But my brain is tired. Its been 17 years of school!

5. Find a job on PEI Not so easy on PEI in the wintertime

What to do what to do.
